Enrichment Activities

Socialisation
Socialisation is the practice of promoting contact with other dogs, animals and humans.
With your permission, your pooch will be encouraged to mix with other dogs of a similar breed, size and character.
Your dog will have the choice to socialise or not and will have plenty of freedom and safe spaces if they decide that it's not for them.

Nutritional Fun
Nutritional enrichment requires your dog to use its natural scavenging and foraging instincts to seek out and earn tasty rewards.
The dogs in our care can practice nutritional enrichment through puzzle toys, snuffle mats, and ‘sniffaris’

Sensory Exploration
Sensory stimulation offers a range of benefits for dogs, both mentally and physically. It can enhance cognitive function, improve problem-solving skills, promote learning and prevent boredom.
At Harley's we provide a variety of sensory activities including smell games, sound stimulation, massage & touch and nature walks to name but a few!

Physical & Mental Nourishment
Dogs are intelligent animals who thrive on physical and mental challenges. Enrichment can be achieved through various activities, such as puzzle toys, scent games, memory games, playing fetch and even agility courses.
These activities will help to engage their minds, enhance cognitive abilities, and promote problem-solving skills. .
